Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an infusion suite, a 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.

**Key Responsibilities**:
***î Reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards

î Ensuring documentation meets coding standards required to ensuring correct revenue generation

î Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.

î Educating staff on best practices for clinical documentation and coding.

î Analysing trends and providing insights to improve documentation processes and outcomes.

î Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.

**Qualifications/ Skills**:
î Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA Nursing Registration

î Minimum 3 years recent acute medical surgical experience

î Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and regulatory requirements

î Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and critical thinking skills
