The Inventory Manager will be responsible for inventory management and inventory control, building a control mechanism to align system discrepancies and adjustments. Responsible for VAS activities.

The Inventory Manager is the main system liaison between ELC and 3PL, ensuring that the 3PL WMS is always aligned to the relevant ELC systems.

The role will assist in ensuring that all transactions run smoothly between the 3PL and the relevant ELC systems, as well as install checks to ensure that there is a continuous accurate representation of stock balances between the relevant systems of the 3PL and ELC.

To ensure success as an Inventory Manager, you should be highly organised and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices. A superior Inventory Manager will be able to maintain accurate stock levels and possess excellent logístical abilities.

Key Responsibilities of Inventory Manager
- Monitoring inventory levels and work with the inventory planners to replenish stock as needed.
- Drive, monitor and improve existing inventory control systems and practices.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and processing.
- Monitoring stock in transit and advise 3PL on pick phase setup of new SKU’s.
- Analysing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Co-ordinating and performing regular stock checks and reporting on any issues through the relevant ELC channels.
- Maintaining and updating inventory records.
- Co-ordinating and conducting 2 full inventory cycle counts/year in collaboration with the 3PL.
- Monitor daily order flow (in close contact with 3PL warehouse inventory and admin teams). Monitor that both ELC and 3PL systems are aligned, take corrective action where needed.
- Identify customer claims, that require 3PL investigation.
- Initiate liaison between 3PL inventory adjustment and source plant in the event of inventory variances. Liaise with the demand planning and inventory management team, to initiate resulting claims.
- Co-ordinate the relevant information sharing between ELC and 3PL to ensure that the correct inventory items are actioned (ie avoid dumping the incorrect batch).
- Support 3PL in processing damaged, obsolete and expired stock, ensuring the disposal takes place is in accordance with the relevant ELC policy and statutory or regulatory requirements in force.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting.
- Co-ordinating information shared by ELC with 3PL to ensure that the correct inventory items are actioned
- Identify and safeguard “limited edition prestige products”.
- Update relevant Scorecards for internal and regional meetings.
- Monitoring and reporting on any EHS issues.
- Working with 3PL operations team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as those pertaining labelling and shipping in general, but also in relation to DG’s.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal laws, state regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials handling.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or similar preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
- Good analytical and logístical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to define priorities even in high pressure situations
- Strong focus on operations’ reality
- Demonstrates strong sense for accuracy and resolution
- Ability to work independently and in a well-structured manner
- Be able to strike report with 3PL counterparts and Management.
- At least 5 years experience in a complex warehouse inventory management role.
- Strong communicator.
- Drives process excellence and continuous improvements.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and follow-up skills.
- Strong drive for action and solutions.
- Good relationship Management.
