This Incident Manager role is a great job opportunity of working for renowned government agency based in Macquarie Park.
**Your new role**
***As an Incident Manager, your role is to monitor IT events and systems, as well as a defined level of incident (including major incident) change, release, problem, and transition to operate management activities for IT Infrastructure and Application Services.
**What you need to succeed**
- Experience with day to day management of IT operations and incidents on a 24x7 basis.
- Experience with using monitoring tools and systems to manage suppliers and agencies to monitor events and alerts for services across IT Infrastructure and Applications to ensure they are being pro-actively monitored and act when required to address issues with service delivery /availability.
- Experience with managing and triaging events/incidents to ensure correct level of escalation and focus is applied for IT services suffering disruptions to minimise service impact and duration.
- Experience with supporting the management and coordination of all aspects of the Major Incident Management Process including the facilitation of Major Incident Management technical bridges and required communications for all P1 & P2 Major Incidents.
