**The opportunity**:
The Head of Risk Governance, Reporting & Regulatory Risk is a key leadership role within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), reporting directly to the CRO AMP Limited, and sitting on the ERM operational leadership team. The role is responsible for oversight and development of risk governance, risk framework and regulatory activities and is responsible for:

- Leading, managing and promoting effective risk governance (including the risk management framework) for AMP Limited to ensure an appropriate alignment between enterprise strategy and regulatory requirements. This includes overall risk management strategy, conflicts of interest and delegations, and business resilience frameworks
- Utilising data analytics to drive data driven and qualitative insights to support risk-aware decision making
- Preparing and delivering regular risk management reporting for Exco, Board and Board Committees
- Overseeing regulatory risk for AMP, focusing on regulatory relations and regulatory/legislative change

**What you will bring to the role**:

- 10 years' minimum experience in Risk and Compliance and/or Audit
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Law or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
- Experience in leadership and management in a team environment to deliver on key strategic and operational goals, and a track record in involvement with high performing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC, APRA), and current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirements, including Corporations Law; ASIC Regulatory Guides; APRA Standards etc
- Strong knowledge of and experience with enterprise risk management in a financial services environment, including risk and compliance management frameworks, regulatory risk and compliance methodologies, policies, and practices, with demonstrated ability in adding value in providing these services
- A proven track record in regulatory risk and compliance in the financial services regulatory arena, with experience in dealing with regulators and industry bodies
- Excellent understanding of the broader regulatory and economic environment in which AMP operates
- Experience in successfully achieving organisation change and influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to think, plan and act strategically and commercially
- Experience coordinating and writing risk or audit reports and interacting with senior management and Board of Directors
