**The opportunity**

Right now, we have a Fixed Term Full-Time opportunity till 30/06/24 for a Business Support Officer to join us in the Business Services Management team of the SCATS Branch based in Strawberry Hills.

SCATS is critical to Transport for NSW and its global customer base, improving traffic flows, managing congestion and keeping over 1 billion people safe every day worldwide. Beyond delivering network optimisation and safety outcomes, SCATS is critical to Transport for NSW’s technology agenda, and is key to anchoring NSW as a global leader in innovation and technology.

We are looking for highly motivated people to provide effective and efficient support to our organisation, so that we can deliver the transport network of the future.

Your day to day responsibilities will be geared towards assisting busy Directors and their supporting teams by providing high-level business support services to facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards.

**About you**
- We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in business support, diary and inbox management, administration, and stakeholder management.
- As a highly motivated self-starter, you possess strong diary management skills; managing, coordinating and optimising the diary schedules of busy directors.
- You are customer-focused, with excellent communication skills, and can drive tasks associated with supporting branch activities such as ensuring approvals are moved up the chain to be addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- You have advanced MS Office skills, good personal timekeeping and an ability to adapt and prioritise tasks that change on a frequent basis.
- You will be tasked to prepare agenda items, minute taking, and arranging facilitation of meetings.

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 5 ($87,256 - $95,984) er annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
