They are looking for a passionate and empathetic Business Support Officer to join their team in Parramatta ASAP on a contract until the 28th of June 2024

**The Job..**

Reporting through to a manager, in this role you will be responsible for:

- Providing a range of administration and office support services to contribute to the well organised and effective operation of the business unit.
- Processing business information in accordance with business unit standards and guidelines to ensure all information is stored correctly, accessible and accurate.
- Supporting business unit managers and directors by preparing documentation and presentation material as required.
- Maintaining efficient and effective administrative systems, making recommendations on how improvements can be made, and new processes can be implemented to better support the business unit.
- Managing filing systems and databases by creating, storing retrieving and tracking files in accordance with business unit standards and guidelines to ensure accuracy and security of documentation.
- Maintaining and build relationships with other areas of the business in order to efficiently arrange and prepare for meetings.
- Providing support to the wider team as required to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the business unit.

To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:

- Minimum 12 months of experience working in a Business Support or Senior Administration position.
- Experience working within the Government Sector would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
