Payroll Officer

Join our client’s team as a permanent, part-time payroll Assistant based in their Cheltenham office. We are seeking an experienced individual to process their weekly payroll and support our clients admin team in maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administration Role:_
- Maintain administrative records and databases in various systems.
- Answer phone calls and ensure messages are directed to the relevant individuals.
- General office duties to ensure a well-organized workspace.
- Finance Role:_
- Manage weekly payroll - construction experience desirable
- Be competent with award and EBA interpretation.
- Manage invoicing and accounts.
- Process payments and enter transactions into Xero.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Competent computer skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Xero.
- Proficient in using Employment Hero.
- Previous payroll experience.
- DXT system experience an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask, work towards deadlines, and collaborate as a team member.
- Capacity to work independently when needed.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $60,641.29 - $69,000.00 per year
