Located across three locations in Victoria - Box Hill, Lilydale and Melbourne CBD. The Institute teaches approximately 40,000 students per year with over 500 courses, 200 accredited courses and 10 workplace training facilities.

Box Hill Institute is nationally recognised and received recognition over the years including the International Training Provider of the Year in 2018, Australian Training Awards’ Large Training Provider of the Year 2016 and the Victorian Training Awards Large Training Provider of the Year 2016.

**About the role**:
The Student Engagement Administrator ensures the effective recruitment and retention of students through
a variety of communication channels. This involves ensuring that all the administrative requirements of the AMEP
program are undertaken in a timely manner. This position supports students from non - English speaking backgrounds with their future vocational, educational and settlement goals resulting in students/client satisfaction.

The position provides a broad range of administrative support and coordination and financial administration to
ensure effective and efficient operations. The position supervises the AMEP customer service team and collaborate
with classroom teachers, Skills and Jobs Centre and other teaching centres throughout the Institute.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:

- A relevant qualification in Business or Office Administration preferably at the Diploma level, or alternative combination of relevant qualification, training and experience.
- Fluency in a language other than English is highly desirable.

Expertise Requirements
- Administrative Management: Demonstrated strong experience in supporting a range of administrative services including student administration, budget planning and monitoring and financial administration, plus the ability

to prepare reports and communicate across all levels of an organisation.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory role. Identifies information and resources required for others to work effectively and makes sure their practical needs are met.
- Customer Service and Client Centricity: Demonstrated success and expertise in providing confident and courteous customer service in a busy environment and providing information and advice to customers and
