**Faculty of Humanities**

**Your new role**

This position will support research grant applicants to develop their skills and prepare high quality submissions as well as mentor and support Early and Mid-Career researchers in the Faculty.

**In this role you will**:

- Work closely with the Dean of Research and Faculty Research leaders through providing intellectual and strategic support in regards to research development and funding opportunities of competitive grants.
- Contribute proactively to the Curtin team of Research Development Advisors, providing integrated and systematic support to all researchers and identifying applicants and proposals suitable for more focussed support.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A relevant postgraduate or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- An extensive understanding and previous experience of research and grant funding in the higher education sector.
- High level interpersonal skills with exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate with diverse groups with cross cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent high quality research facilitation skills and high level of conceptual and analytical advice.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- PHD qualifications in a relevant field (desirable)

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
