Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, testicular cancer.

**About the role**

As a part of our digital experience and channels team, you will work within a cross-disciplinary product team undertaking discovery and design activities. You will inform decision making with evidence from real customers which takes the guess work and risk out of product decisions throughout its lifecycle. You will lead product teams towards the creation of positive, meaningful and effective experiences that help men live happier, healthier and longer lives.

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Richmond office.

**You’ll have the opportunity to**
- Lead design decision making within product teams and empower other design specialists and developers to contribute as a cohesive team.
- Design and consistently deliver experiences and processes using best-practice human centred design principles.
- Employ industry standard tools to provide expertly crafted design artefacts where needed.
- Assist, review and work closely with the Product Managers, Owners and Techmos (That’s Movember speak for developers) to support the shaping of product strategies and road maps.

**For this role, you’ll need**
- To be well-versed in the entire design process. You don’t have to necessarily do it all, but you will be intimately familiar with the end-to-end design process and where you fit within it.
- To have an outstanding portfolio which demonstrates clear insights, problem solving and genuine innovation.
- In depth knowledge of design patterns and accessibility as well as the capabilities and limitations of native and web platforms.
- Knowledge of basic web programming languages.

**Bonus points for**
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit or public health sector.
- Understanding the importance of maintaining sensitivity, privacy and empathy when working alongside at-risk groups.
