**Job Summary**:
As an Art Director, you’ll be a key figure in the Creative Team and excel in concept development and execution. You’ll drive our creative projects and work closely with the copywriters and video production teams to create on-brief, on-brand campaigns and content that tell our story.

This role would be perfect for someone who can bring a mix of design, marketing, video, and social expertise to the position and stays up to date with the broader trends of the design industry. We are looking for an art director who is just as comfortable doing hands-on design work (on the tools) as they are directing and managing a video or photoshoot.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bring our brand to life and support and action our objectives and key results and goals across multiple domains.
- Managing and designing for the full creative process - from campaign kickoff to delivery
- Understanding the needs of our users and solving strategic problems to craft amazing brand experiences
- Champion and bring to life the VistaPrint vision, visualise ideas in new ways and tell our story.
- Helping people refine their project brief, further understand the scope, and translate business requirements into creative requirements.
- Deliver creative execution that is on-brief, consistent and on-brand
- Push and influence designers to constantly strive for excellence
- Working with internal teams to support, inspire and drive our brand across all platforms and mediums
- Delivering assets within agreed-upon timeframes
- Ensuring global brand consistency in all deliverables
- Stewarding the look and feel of the VistaPrint brand in the organic space
- Collaborate and help drive brainstorming sessions and workshops with different teams and collaborators
- Finding opportunities to innovate and grow the brand and our online presence
- Identifying ways to improve the efficiency of creative execution
- Managing the day-to-day work and creative queue

**Required Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Around 6+ years of experience designing successful marketing/brand campaigns (don’t let it deter you if you have less but know you have what it takes)
- Expert understanding of the creative process, art direction methodologies and tools and experience leading and collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Experienced visual designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for conceptual thinking, brand evolution, art direction and beautiful design.
- A natural collaborator who can rally teams of all kinds and influence peers across the organisation
- Always eager to learn and evolve your process
- Willing to work and participate in cross-functional teams (such as copywriters, marketing, designers, product managers and engineers)
- A passion for all things design and print
- An expert on the tools (Adobe Suite, Figma and other online design and collaboration tools)

**Physical Requirements**:

- This position is remote first, but you will need to be available for on-location shoots in the Melbourne office and external locations..

**Travel Requirements**:

- Some national and international travel may be required.
