Lead, Truth Telling

Lead and participate in high performing team/s in the development of creative and engaging library and cultural services, and programs in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
- Engaging and partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, artists, and communities to maintain, strong relationships that contributes to the Queensland Statement of Commitment to reframing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
- Providing people and project management and support in the delivery of programs and events. This includes supporting the team on proposals, design and production while coordinating promotion, sourcing of supplies and resources as well as meeting budgetary requirements.
- Partnering with communities through Indigenous Knowledge Centres, public libraries and language centres to develop and implement programs and events.
- Reviewing, evaluating and reporting on current programs to ensure they meet State Library's service delivery targets. This includes measuring client satisfaction levels, attendance quotas, quality standards and operational objectives.
- Ensuring content is targeted, relevant and appropriate for the community and audience. This includes researching history, stories, statistics, and trends in library services - internationally, nationally and locally to provide cohesive program delivery.
- Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally safe, inclusive, respectful and ethical.
