This is an outstanding opportunity for a law student to take on a position delivering administrative services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
Legal Aid Queensland is one of Queensland's largest law practice, employing some of Queensland's leading lawyers. This position is in Brisbane and will build skill in civil law jurisdictions.
As a clerk, you will help the lawyers with all administrative activities associated with the civil law team including the provision of legal advice and representation including preparation of correspondence and legal documents; keeping file notes; collecting personal information; preparing briefs; data entry, searches, and scheduling appointments. You will also prepare spreadsheets, maintain equipment and supplies, collect and distribute mail and pay accounts.
