The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. About you
As our Project Coordinator, you’ll use your organisational, planning and facilitation skills including ability to prioritise, problem solve and meet complex workloads to coordinate multiple initiatives concurrently.
Your outstanding stakeholder management skills will allow you to collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders, maintaining a focus on members and employees as the driving force behind transformation and delivering substantial benefits throughout the RACGP.

demonstrated ability to work autonomously and experience collaborating with teams across multiple sites
proficient in facilitating group discussions, brainstorming sessions, workshops, and presentations to foster creativity, innovation, collaboration, alignment, and decision-making among project stakeholders.

high standard of written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to review and present complex information
able to clearly and succinctly tailor content to different audience requirements
familiarity with project management software tools and systems to streamline project tracking, reporting, and communication.
ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members
intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting Project Managers in the successful delivery of strategic projects across the college. You will have the chance to take the lead on business initiatives, leveraging your facilitation and planning abilities to support successful delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring timelines, providing administrative support, facilitation and ensuring adherence to governance and reporting standards. By developing and maintaining collaborative relationships, you'll help ensure that projects meet their objectives and align with business goals.

**In addition, you’ll**:
Create and maintain project plans, identifying risks and dependencies that may impede program progression, and driving opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Support the development of change plans and coordination of change activity.
Coordinate and facilitate project workshops and meetings, including ideation sessions, project kick-offs, stand-ups, and reviews.
Assist in requirements analysis and information gathering for projects as needed.
Assist the Senior Portfolio Manager with the daily management of the project portfolio, ensuring adherence to governance and reporting standards.
