Overview

Role

- Preserving and storing electronic evidence delivered to the Mastercard Forensics Lab.
- Assisting the Insider Threat team with reviewing Data Loss Prevention controls and assisting internal users impacted by our tools.
- Establishing and maintaining Chain of Custody for any electronic data and evidence handled by the Corporate Security Investigations team.
- Documenting and improving existing processes, aligning to industry standards and frameworks where appropriate (ISO, NIST, etc).
- Reporting and providing metrics to leadership on key performance indicators as needed.
- Interfacing with key internal stakeholders from other areas of the business such as HR, legal, and privacy teams to ensure customer needs are documented and met.

- Must have experience with Microsoft products, tools and suites such as o365, word, excel, Windows, etc.
- Familiarity with the key high-level differences between Mac and Windows operating systems

- Understanding of legal concepts, terms, and processes related to requests for digital evidence and dat
- Basic understanding or experience with investigation processes and/or frameworks in a prior role
- Always look for potential solutions to solve problems
- Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Exposure to investigative or technical report writing in a previous role preferred.
- Security training or certifications a plus
- eDiscovery training or certifications a plus
