**About the Role**:
As a Community Safety Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Health & Building Unit with administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:

- Assisting the Building Unit with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and adhering to council policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records in the council's Electronic Content Management System.
- Processing payments and managing requisitions in compliance with the council's Purchasing Policy.
- Upholding confidentiality and discretion while handling a wide range of information and projects.
- Generating statistics and reports using computer systems.
- Processing compliance notices, letters, and other relevant correspondence.

**About You**:
To excel in this role, you should have:

- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in administration, preferably in a customer service or regulatory environment.
- The ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail, and perform various administrative duties to a high standard.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adaptability to new situations, showing initiative in responding to challenging work tasks.
- Flexibility to work within tight deadlines and fluctuating work demands as part of a high-functioning team.
- Post-secondary qualification in administration along with some administrative experience.
- Relevant experience in a customer service or administration environment.
- Experience in a regulatory environment is advantageous.
