**About the Business Unit**

Gaming and Liquor advises the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation on the development and implementation of liquor and gambling legislation and regulation, major licensing processes, and on current and emerging gambling and liquor-related issues. The business unit is the primary government point of reference for industry, community and government on liquor and gambling issues.

The Office of the Executive Director - Gaming and Liquor provides high-quality administrative and coordination services to the Executive Director and the Gaming and Liquor Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The office is comprised of the Executive Coordinator, Executive Assistant and Business Support Officer. The team works collaboratively to ensure that the Executive Director and SLT are well supported, and the office is managed in an effective and efficient manner.

**About the Role**

The role of a Business Support Officer:

- Support the provision of confidential administrative support services within the Office of the Executive Director - Gaming and Liquor, and across the broader business unit and group.
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Coordinator and Executive Assistant to ensure the office is managed effectively and efficiently.
- Process a high volume of briefs and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.

**About You**
- Experience in general office management including the provision of confidential, personal and administrative support functions.
- Understanding of DJCS policies, procedures and systems including TRIM, Oracle and EBC is desirable.

This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

Acceptable evidence includes:

- COVID-19 digital certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
