Our Growth team at Versent fuel our business growth, we have an amazing opportunity for experienced Customer Partner to join our team and build deep, trusted partnerships with our core and strategic customers. In this role, you will help customers realise their aspirations and overcome constraints by leveraging our comprehensive Digital, Cloud, Data, AI, Security, and Identity capabilities. As the single-threaded owner and Versent Executive stakeholder for these customers, you will ensure growth, continuity, customer satisfaction, and value-driven outcomes, while also fostering employee engagement.

As a senior leader in Versent's Vic/Tas Leadership team, you will report to the Regional General Manager and manage a portfolio of core and strategic customers. Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to deliver exceptional value and quality outcomes for our customers, retain and grow customer revenue through continuous business development, and ensure financial success. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior leadership, including executives, is key to ensuring a strong partnership and realising the value we bring.

What you will do- Develop deep and diverse relationships within the customers organisation to drive multiple fields of play.- Provide a single thread of leadership and across the total engagement life cycle from pre-sales, delivery, handover to closure.- Identify strategic accounts and create and maintain a strategic account plans for growth over multiple horizons; engage with Versent Solutions and Advisory Centre and Practice leads to lay the foundations to diversify and expand service offerings.- Develop, bid, and close new business and continuity for services, product and licencing with an individual annual target.- Ensure accurate management of leads and opportunities in Salesforce and communicate and collaborate regularly with Head of Services, Directors and GM on all stages of the Sales Lifecycle.- Lead the Sales stages lifecycle to develop, bid, and close opportunities as per Versent Sales, commercial and review and approval processes.- Identify business development opportunities on net new business lines / divisions for upcoming and future initiatives and delegate responsibility to Senior Account- Lead and manage commercial negotiations, communications and signing of proposals, SOWs, MSAs and NDAs- Work with and introduce Partners to open new fields of play and opportunities.- Lead Customer/Account level partner and supplier business development and delivery forums.

Your background- A seasoned background in solution sales within the enterprise/ public sector market.- A strong understanding of delivering solutions within the Technology Domain- An ability to influence at executive level but also have meaningful conversations at the tech layer.- Demonstrated experience in a land & expand motion, with proven ability to over-achieve on revenue metrics.- A leader: an ability to influence internal stakeholders, partners and customers and lead a team to a desired outcome.- Growth mindset: A glass half full approach and takes a medium-long term approach to generating pipeline & relationships.- Experience selling professional services is desirable.- Be an Owner: Strong sense of ownership & accountability & does not shy away from tough conversations.- Balancing People & Commercials: A strong commercial mindset while constructing deals and also balancing the client’s expectations.- Done: Done: A high level of integrity & action oriented to complete the job and do what is right by the customer.
