**Your Role**
This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a genuine 'people' person with strong attention to detail and super administration and hospitality skills. We are seeking an experienced Retirement Living Manager for our village - De Paul Manor Estate in Southport.
Take your customer service or sales skills to the next level with this exciting opportunity to drive positive growth and enhance the client experience at De Paul Manor Estate. The Retirement Living Manager is responsible to lead and provide high quality service to village residents by managing all aspects of our serviced apartments and independent living accommodation. As well as being responsible for building relationships with and between residents, ensuring that all organisational and regulatory requirements are met and providing leadership and support to village staff.
Further to the above you will also be responsible for:
- Working with residential and community care services to meet the needs of residents for their care and health needs
- Co-ordinating and assisting residents with access care and/or community services which will enable their continued independence
- Participating in planning process to ensure cost effective operations of the village and delivery of quality services
- Managing and overseeing general stocks, supplies and equipment for the provision of operational efficiency
- Overseeing the maintenance of buildings, grounds, plant and equipment as well as investigating areas for improvement in the area of customer service and identify and implement appropriate new services to enhance service provision to residents
**Your Attributes**
We're looking for an enthusiastic person who has what it takes to make a difference in our resident's lives. An experienced professional with managerial experience within Retirement Living or an adjacent industry, such as hospitality.

- Strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative, consultative and participatory approach to service planning, delivery and decision making

- An understanding of budgets, contracts and capital works expenditure
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and commitments

**Role Requirements**
- Tertiary Qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive management experience, preferably in a large community service/health organisation
- Well-developed understanding of financial management and proven track record in achieving agreed targets
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
