Records Management Officer

Location: Kwinana/ Murdoch/ WFH (Days split between the two offices and home)
**Responsibilities**:
As a Records Management Officer specialising in EDRMS, you will:
EDMS Administration:
- Manage day-to-day EDRMS functions, including conducting document quality checks, maintaining user groups, and addressing help requests.
- Collaborate with external vendors to implement and test system improvements, bug fixes, and upgrades.
- Ensure seamless administration of document templates and forms within the EDRMS.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in EDRMS functionality.
- Support the evaluation and selection of new systems and technologies to enhance Document Control and Records Management.
- Communicate system and process changes to stakeholders effectively.
Promote Effective Use of EDRMS:
- Proactively engage with information owners across the organisation to promote EDRMS adoption.
- Facilitate the capture and management of business information within the EDRMS.
- Ensure that the EDRMS acts as a central repository for relevant business documents and drawings.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials for EDRMS usage.
- Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions on Information Management practices and EDRMS utilisation.
Information and Records Management:
- Generate regular reports on system health, including tracking overdue documents, pending approvals, and documents due for disposal.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in EDRMS administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with document classification, indexing, and retrieval processes.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented and organised approach to managing records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Records Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
