The Communications team are seeking an experienced **Communications Coordinator, Visual Content** to join their collaborative dynamic team.
This position coordinates and develops creative and engaging digital content to promote government announcements, policies and programs for the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) including the production and management of internal and external video and photographic communication; including audio-visual equipment management, pre-production, filming and editing content for both DPE and key stakeholders.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Collating and recording material for ministerial announcement.
- Creating media content and including assisting with the media library.
- Produce, film and use software such as Adobe Creative Suite to edit video and photographic communications content in line with business strategy and objectives to maximise audience impact and engagement for DPE and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of scripts, location sourcing, visual treatment, art direction, and overall creative approach to ensure engaging and quality communication projects.
- Undertake video and photographic archive ensuring it is kept up to date and assist with the maintenance of specialised audio-visual equipment.
- Foster and maintain strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders to understand and meet their communication requirements and manage their expectations.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Relevant experience in TV, film or media or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high quality and effective production and management of internal and external video and photographic communication; including audio-visual equipment management, pre-production, filming and editing content.
- Experience in tailoring communications to diverse audiences including internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience.
