**ABOUT THE BRANCH & SECTION**

The Business Services and Support Branch provides advice and support to the department on a range organisation services, including property and facilities management, office services, protective security management, future ways of working and digital information management services. The Branch also leads Finance’s engagement with SDO to support shared services within the department.

The Future Ways of Working team delivers a range of projects and process improvement solutions across the department. Key projects include better utilisation of our accommodation and improving the reporting for corporate services. The team is also responsible for the CSD Project Office. In our Business Optimisation space, digital solutions implemented use robotic process automation (Blue Prism), digitisation tools, workflows, reporting solutions or process re-engineering depending on the business process challenge.

**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**

The Change and Communication Co-ordinator reports directly to the Project Manager and integrates change management, consultation and communication activities within relevant projects within the Future Ways of Working team.

The Change and Communication Co-ordinator will work with a wide range of stakeholders across the department and plays a key role in ensuring that projects undertaken meet objectives utilising the departments change framework. This role requires strong communication skills to assist with preparing, supporting and equipping people to adapt to any changes to the workplace or technology associated with the future ways of working for the department.

The Change and Communication Co-ordinator will:

- Report to and support the Project Manager
- Design, develop and deliver a consultation strategy to support the change management and project plans
- Develop and implement a change management plan to support the effective delivery and adoption of workplace changes (taking a co-design approach to change where possible)
- Design, develop, deliver and manage key communications
- Conduct a thorough stakeholder analysis identifying communication channels and analysing impacts. Ongoing management of stakeholders throughout the project ensuring user readiness
- Facilitate a range of engagements including focus group sessions and information sessions
- Develop and present papers at a range of governance meetings including the Staff Consultative Group, Project Board or Executive Board
- Management and reporting of risks and issues including identification, analysis and development of mitigation strategies
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Conduct a post-implementation review and transition the change to BAU
- Other project activities as directed.
