Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Amit Chakma, and a member of the senior executive team, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations) contributes to shaping the future of the University and its strategy. With oversight of the University-wide physical and digital infrastructure and operations, your portfolio includes information technology, corporate governance, safety, campus, venues and contract management. Significantly, you will embrace, support, and manage a high-performing and dynamic team to drive operational and administration functions consistent with the University's policies and compliance framework.

This outstanding opportunity will suit individuals with significant leadership and people management experience, including a positive 'can-do' approach and evidence of successful partnerships with a range of customers and stakeholders. With proven credentials in strategic thinking, risk management and planning, you are proficient in continuously improving customer-focused service infrastructure solutions, working with Boards and in transforming and simplifying systems, processes, and services. Recognised for your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, you are a team player who inspires others to achieve their best. Post-graduate professional qualifications in business or management or significant equivalent experience, and an understanding of the higher education sector are expected.
