**About the team**:
The Student Accommodation and Community directorate sits within the Education Portfolio, which is lead by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education). Within Student Accommodation and Community resides several diverse and equally essential areas that work to provide a meaningful and sustainable student experience across the life cycle of UWA’s student community.

Student Accommodation and Community operates and engages in business activities that offer unique and impactful service to students and the campus community.

**About the opportunity**:
As the appointee you will, under broad direction, develop, deliver and support the business operations of the Directorate. You will support various aspects of business operations and actioning key projects for, with and through functional areas within the Directorate.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive the commercial success of these centres in both financial and non-financial terms.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Extensive relevant experience in commercial management, business operations, or a related field and at an appropriate level
- Experience in service orientated businesses and with a priority on customer experience
- Knowledge of healthcare and childcare regulations and compliance standards
- Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets and creating value
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
