**About the team**

The Division of Student Accommodation and Community sits within the UWA Education Portfolio, overseen by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education). Together, with the Division of Student Life, Student Accommodation and Community, plays an integral role in the shared strategic goal of providing a world-class student experience.

The Student Accommodation and Community Division provides co-aligned and extracurricular services for enrolled students, staff and community stakeholders. The Division manages a significant asset portfolio for the University, including all sporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as a series of student accommodation buildings and facilities. Co-aligned support services include; the residential onsite student accommodation services of University Hall, UWA Medical Centre, UWA Child Care Services, UWA Sport and the commercial operations team (encompassing short stay accommodation and events). The area works closely with the Student Guild and the Division of Student Life.

**About the opportunity**

As the appointee you will, under general direction, provide support in connecting UWA students and Staff members with the accommodation options that fit their needs. You will be the key contact for students and staff members by facilitating the referral process, supporting the operations of the UWA accommodation portfolio, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency.

The accommodation portfolio includes areas such as but not limited to; five residential colleges known as College Row, Crawley Village, Forrest Hall Scholars and Short Stay Guests, wider UWA partners including, Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSAs), Homestay Networks, Private Rental Agencies, and others.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level
- Experience in student accommodation or a general accommodation services environment
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
