Coordinator Waste

**Full Time Permanent Position**

**Band 8 - Salary Range $120,224 to $134,591 per annum + 11% Super + ADO**

**Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.**

**The Opportunity**

An opportunity has arisen to coordinate the Waste & Cleaning Operations team within the City Delivery portfolio, reporting to the Manager Operations.

This position is responsible for coordinating and leading the Waste and Cleaning Operations team and contractors in the delivery of quality Kerbside, Transfer Station, Hard Waste, Cleaning and Graffiti Response Services. You will ensure these services are provided within budget and comply with relevant statutory obligations, regulations, codes, guidelines and Council policies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Advice and reports to Council on Waste Management and Cleaning Operation issues that may arise.
- Maintain relationships and partnership with government, industry bodies, contractors and consultants.
- Effectively manage annual budgets and service plans including business plan reporting.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary qualification in a technical area with substantial experience, or formal qualifications with extensive waste management experience or proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience and knowledge in the waste, resource recovery and/or cleaning industries.
- Significant experience in Contract Management and OH & S requirements.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
