**The Team**

The Property Planning and Capital Works section within the Strategic Priorities branch is responsible for providing strategic property services including sustainability, and delivery of a national capital works program.

***The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader and Project Manager who will support the Director Property Planning and Capital Works and the agency in the day-to-day management and overall delivery of the national office accommodation project to the required quality, schedule, cost and project outcomes; including planning and oversight of program and project deliverables, change & communications management, and providing specialist advice and reporting related to the project.

To excel you’ll have:

- In depth project management skills and experience.
- Experience managing, monitoring, and reporting on project deliverables, including the direction, quality, and budget.
- Demonstrated skills and experience defining and analysing business needs for the future and implementing change management processes to develop appropriate office environment solutions.
- Experience procuring and managing the services provided by contractors for the supply of goods and services.
- Consulting and providing specialist advice and recommendations to management, senior executive and other stakeholders via various communication channels including papers and briefs.
- Understanding of accountability for capital expenditure and exercise appropriate financial and resource delegations.
- Providing analysis and judgement on complex issues and make significant contribution to the management, preparation, and coordination of policy formulation and/or project management.
- Defining and analysing business needs for the future and implementing change management processes to develop appropriate office environment solutions.
- Develop and cultivating key internal and external relationships, including collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation. In addition to representing and explaining agency views in various forums.
- Successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time and on budget.
