Our client is a leading top-tier global law firm whose purpose is to master the law for the ultimate prosperity of their clients, people, and communities.

Based in prestigious high-rise CBD office space that fully supports Agile WFH flexibility, as the IT Service Desk Manager for Perth, you will be responsible for leading, directing, developing, and motivating the local Service Desk team. You will also be responsible for managing the tools and processes required for delivering a high quality, professional and efficient client service to Partners and staff.

You and your team will be the first port of call for any customer enquiries and problems relating to Technology, provisioning technical support over the phone and deskside. Additionally, you will also have responsibility for the daily operations of Audio-Visual services and video conferencing, predominantly on client floors, and you will be required to provide high quality support to internal and external clients.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

- Attainment of or progression towards a technical certification (degree in IT related field, Microsoft Certified Professional certification etc.)
- Attainment of or progression towards ITIL Foundation certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a team leader/management role
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Service Desk/Helpdesk environment
- Experience building and implementing best practices within a Service Desk/Help Desk environment
- High level understanding of Microsoft core technologies
- Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
- Excellent team management skills - including coordination and delegation
- Proven ability to clarify, priorities, and resolve technical issues in a Windows 10 and Office 2019 / Microsoft 365 environment
- Experience in an Audio-Visual environment
- Troubleshooting skills for supporting remote staff (VPN & Citrix etc.)
- Experience with managing Mobile devices via an MDM solution. (e.g., Intune)
- Active Directory skills - ability to maintain, create, and delete user accounts
- The ability to be flexible, innovative, resourceful, self-motivated, and be able to learn on the job
- A highly professional manner and work-ethic
