This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing store operations and store standards in the absence of the Store Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Approx 70% of duties are:

- Front-end supervisory
- Stock replenishment
- Receiving & putting out of stock deliveries
- Store presentation

Remaining 30% of duties:

- Store opening & closing procedures
- Supervision of staff
- Training & development of new & existing staff
- Communicating relevant issues to Management

**Skills**:

- Be able to lead & mentor staff
- Have a high level of initiative & pro-activeness
- Have high standard of work values & ethics
- Ability to identify issues & prioritise tasks
- Good problem solving skills & ability to deal with difficult situations
- Excellent communications skills
- Exceptional customer service
- High presentation standards

Applicants should ideally have previous supervisory & stock replenishment experience preferably within the Independent Supermarket industry.

Experience in front end and/or deli departments would also be favourably considered. The successful applicant would be required to work 4 to 5 shifts per week predominantly weekday and weekend evenings.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
