As an Account Payable & Receivable Officer, your new role will see you accurately process payment of invoices, commissions, employee expense claims, corporate credit cards, journals and month end activities whilst ensuring nib’s policies and procedures are followed at all times.

This opportunity will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, 22.8 hours per week with flexibility around the days and hours worked. In addition, this role will also see you:
- Accurately process invoices, expenses and allowances- Prepare and produce EFT and manual payment files for vendor and customer payments- Create and maintain new agent and affiliate data in the relevant ERP and Policy Administration System- Efficient management of invoicing/RCTI’s- End to end management of nib corporate credit cards including monthly reconciliations- Month end AP/AR close including reporting, journals and dispute resolution to meet set deadlines- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding AP and AR related queries in a timely and courteous manner

You will consider yourself as someone who can effectively communicate to a diverse audience with high attention to detail and experience with high volume processing and general ledger transactions.

To ensure you will be set up for success, we require you to have a minimum of 3 years accounts payable and receivable experience in the workplace. Furthermore, you will have:- Strong organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload- Proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry- Analytical skills including being able to identify, assess and solve problems- Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and time management skills- Able to communicate in a clear manner, both verbally and in writing- Work collaboratively within a team and independently- Experience using MS Excel, Outlook and accounting software, ideally Finance One- Experience with foreign currency payments
