Project Financial Analyst

The Project Accountant will be responsible for providing financial controls and reporting for projects at the Mount Pleasant Operation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting for projects.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
- Manage project accounting activities, including invoicing, cash flow, and accounts payable.
MACH Energy's Mount Pleasant Operation is a coal mine commencing in 2017. The operation has successfully ramped up to 10.5 Mtpa of high-quality thermal coal while achieving outstanding safety, environmental, and community outcomes.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or CA qualifications or working towards.
- 5+ years' experience in a professional or mining finance environment.
- Experience in management accounting, general ledger activities, accounting and bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in a project environment.
- Knowledge of computerised accounting systems (PRONTO desirable).
