**The Role**
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage a Senior Executive Service office including, but not limited to diary management, meeting arrangements, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, responding to correspondence, coordination and prioritisation of documentation and collation of material in a timely manner.
- Perform procurement, reconciliation and acquittal of the Senior Executive Office budget and financial delegate functions.
- Identify risks and uncertainties and takes account of these in planning, decision making and priority setting.
- Implement and provide advice on the Australian Signals Directorate administration policy and procedures.
- Build and sustain relationships to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
- Tailor communication style and language according to the audience's level of knowledge, skill and experience.
- Prioritise and make recommendations to provide high level administrative assistance to the Senior Executive Service.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Manage workflows and resources, prepare work area and team plans detailing measurable milestones and expected outcomes.

We are seeking energetic, highly organised and task-orientated ASD6 Executive Assistants and Executive Support Officers to provide executive support to a range of Senior Executive Officers across the agency during this exciting period of growth.
Within the Administration function an ASD6 Executive Assistant and Executive Support Officer is accountable under mínimal direction to perform and achieve complex administrative support work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to ensure they have knowledge of and compliance with, legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the Australian Signal Directorate’s mission and policy requirements.

- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have strong stakeholder engagement skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of people, including at an internal and external senior executive level
