About the Role

Due to an internal secondment, we currently have an opportunity for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support two well respected leaders within the Finance Team at AGL.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a range of support services that facilitate the effective planning, executive leadership and management duties and a variety of other general administrative duties.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage Outlook by reviewing all items & meeting requests in a timely manner & actioning, delegating, marking for follow up, filing or drawing attention to urgent/ business critical items
- Deal promptly and comprehensively with all enquiries and correspondence, prioritising where necessary, referring as appropriate and personally dealing with them where this is possible
- Creation of external materials representing the team’s activities and plans for e.g. Leadership Team meetings and other forums
- Manage and follow up action / to do lists of key team members
- Assist GM and Heads Of in review and approval of expenses, invoices and other items within delegation levels
- Review team travel requests to ensure compliance with Travel Policy
- Co-ordinate logistics of meetings, functions and events ranging from team meetings to large conferences, road-shows and presentations (both on and off-site location), including venues and planning, on behalf of the GM and Heads Of
- Adhoc support for meetings for the GM and Heads Of
- Prepare agendas, minutes and actions (where appropriate), for circulation of information to participants (pre & post meetings) by agreed timeframes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and in team, as well as be adaptable to work with changing priorities. You will be flexible to work on a wide range of tasks, whilst displaying a friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Previous experience working in a Personal Assistant position in a large organisation
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong sense of initiative
- High level of business acumen, and able to uphold confidentiality
- Confident at liaising with people from all levels of the business
- Ability to display a high degree of empathy
- Intermediate MS office skills a (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with learning new programs and systems
- Previous experience in supporting Finance Executives will be highly regarded.
