We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic leader to join the Waste, Cleansing and Public Safety team as the Coordinator of City Cleansing.
- Coordinate and provide operational management of Public Place Waste Services activities by implementing effective systems for day-to-day operations that ensure Council meets industry best practice standards.
- Lead continuous strategic and operational improvement of the cleansing operations through ongoing analysis and review of service levels. Lead a team of Supervisors ensuring that all schedule maintenance service levels are achieved throughout the city.
- Assist in leading continuous strategic and operational improvements to waste services and cleansing operations through ongoing analysis and review of service levels.
- Work with a genuine commitment to customer service and workplace health and safety and be keen to foster an effective team environment.

- Degree level qualifications in a business management or equivalent experience in management and administration of operations services in a similar environment
- Demonstrated experience in effective workforce planning to ensure the availability and allocation of resources meet service standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work on weekends, afternoon, and night shift as required.
- Class C drivers’ licence - NSW
- A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.

**Things you will do**:

- Coordinate technical and operational decisions on the management of Council’s Waste and Cleansing services.
- Coordinate the activities of team of Supervisors and monitor and review operational issues whilst ensuring waste and cleansing schedules are achieved.
- Determine priorities for Public Place activities based on external/internal customers service requirements.
