**Who we are**
**The Biosecurity Digital Reform Branch** provides retail digital and data services for a range of different business areas across the Biosecurity and Compliance Group. The branch operates in an agile and continually evolving digital and data environment which has unique challenges and opportunities. The branch is highly connected and integrated with relevant business areas in Biosecurity and Compliance.

**The Digital Strategy Branch** are designing and developing easy, fast and reliable digital services to agricultural exporters to improve the experience of exporting. This includes the delivery of the Export Service, where all services being built come together. Digital Strategy also work across the Simplified Trade System whole of government projects to ensure DAFF's digital and policy objectives are met. Through extensive internal and external communication we are collaboratively delivering a modern and robust future border environment.

The Take Farmers to Market aims modernise and sustain digital export services by future-proofing current and emerging systems. We uphold the regulatory requirements across all commodities to ensure continued trade across our digital services. Incorporating the successes of the TFTM program, we improve the reliability of our services and provide entities with access and manage their agricultural export requirements as per the Export Control Act 2020 and associated delegated legislation.

**The Job**
The Procurement Officer will:

- Provide strategic advice, practical guidance and solutions on procurement and contracting matters to divisional staff including complex probity and procurement compliance reviews of approaches to market in line with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Develop cooperative working relationships with a range of stakeholders to ensure achievement of service delivery outcomes and the divisional objectives including assisting staff to ensure compliance of procurement processes with governance frameworks and timely completion of procurement activities.
- Assist to develop, coordinate and deliver Procurement training to divisional staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to direct report/s to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient outcomes and that the service provided meets the needs of the Authority’s stakeholder.
- Maintain and keep track of procurement activity within the division using Technology One and Excel - Coordinate and administer mandatory procurement reporting requirements, including AusTender, Senate Order and Indigenous Procurement Policy reporting as required
- Other Procurement and resourcing duties as required
