**Technical Claims Manager (Strategic Partnerships)**

**About the role**

This is a pivotal role where you will have key accountability for building discipline, consistency, and outcomes to achieve brilliance in the execution of our indirect claims portfolio operation whilst maintaining our award-winning customer experience.

Reporting into the Head of Strategic Partnerships, we’re looking an individual who relishes autonomy and in return offers significant flexibility in respect of working environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the governance framework associated with our distribution partner’s claims operation and management
- Undertaking key governance activities including deep dives, claims audits and high-level process reviews
- Engaging with appropriate stakeholders to implement and deliver on action plans and compliance related uplifts
- Managing effective approval processes for all claims over outsourced providers delegations, including appropriate participation in customer complaints
- Ensuring adherence with risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures, including identifying and addressing any instances of non-compliance
- Driving innovative thinking through the generation of service, process and organisational ideas and the shaping of the ideas to become practical and attractive propositions
- Reporting against key KPIs and SLAs
- Identifying areas of improvement and challenging the status quo

**About you**
- Demonstrated technical claims experience in both personal and commercial lines
- Coaching and training experience desirable
- Knowledge of and practical experience of working with or for underwriting agencies and/or third-party claims administrators
- Knowledge of legislative and technical requirements impacting the financial services industry particularly as they relate to claims
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement
- Data interpretation and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys a dynamic autonomous working environment
- Maintains performance during times of ambiguity
