We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join a team at a respected brokerage firm on the Sunshine Coast as a Claims Consultant. The Role
- Manage a portfolio of loss contents claims, liaising with various stakeholders to completion
- Communicate with insurance brokers, clients, and assessors in line with agreed timeframes
- Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines and identify potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable
- Assess the validity of claims based on policy terms and conditions.
- Making claim decisions according to your authority level
About you
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claim procedures is crucial.
- Excellent; customer service, communication, time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy or ability to learn new systems
- Relevant certifications, such as ANZIIF (Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance), would be advantageous.
