**About the role**
As State Manager, VIC & WA, you will lead the leaders of our branch network in Victoria and Perth. Reporting to our Head of Branches, your passion for leading large teams and driving an engaged, customer-obsessed culture will see you succeed. Leveraging Great Southern Bank’s partnerships in the region, you will develop and execute the strategy to grow the team’s community and customer impact. You will be the face of the branch network in both VIC and WA, and lead business development, staff development and customer engagement initiatives. You will work closely with the Branch leadership team, partnership team, and the Head of Branches to improve network performance, network operational compliance, generate results, and ensure consistency in your approach with your national peers.
**What we’re looking for**
As a leader of leaders, you have extensive experience in managing multiple branches across, preferably across different states.
- Sales and frontline leadership experience
- Experience in leading teams across diverse locations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in home lending
- Proven relationship management skills
- Proven track record of delivery in a Financial Services environment, demonstrating a clear focus on meeting agreed business targets, priorities, and objectives
- Ability to build strong working relationships and partnerships, influencing and persuading as appropriate
- Ability to continuously improve the business by generating new and practical ways of doing things to solve problems and gain competitive advantage
