The opportunity
Reporting to and working closely with the Head, Strategic Inquiries Unit, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of each inquiry. This will include leading stakeholder engagement, delivering inquiry outcomes and reporting and providing policy advice. In year one, this will include establishing, testing, and adapting the SIU governance structure and related processes, a stakeholder engagement strategy, and a reporting approach.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of fit for purpose inquiries on time and on budget, including the operation of cross-functional project teams, high-quality written reports (where required) and practical recommendations
- Provide independent high-quality verbal and written, strategic and innovative policy advice to the Head SIU, executive leadership, and Commissioners in relation to SIU inquiries.
- Co-ordinate stakeholder engagement, including consultation processes in relation to inquiry topics and inquiries.
- Contribute to strategic, business, and operational planning of the SIU and maintain a high level of contemporary awareness on new and emerging issues.
