An exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join the Capella Capital team to support the senior management with various compliance initiatives to deliver operational efficiencies governance within the business. This is a 12 month, fixed-term contract based at our Sydney or Melbourne office.

In this pivotal and highly visible role, you will ensure the business unit complies will all regulatory requirements and policies. Supporting the senior management, this role will see you collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and manage regulatory risk whilst ensuring that the business unit practices are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support and improve the governance framework within business unit.
- Support the rollout and implementation of compliance framework across business unit.
- Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance controls are effective.
- Completing risk assessments and conducting investigations into incidents and breaches.
- Support the provision of financial products and services according to AFSL authorisations.
- Liaise with regulators such as ASIC, OIAC and AUSTRAC
- Maintain compliance and reporting calendar

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Post qualification experience in Compliance, Audit, Legal or Risk Management
- Demonstrate experience and sound knowledge of financial services laws, regulatory obligations, and compliance operations.
- Experience in financial services, equity, asset management or banking sectors will be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- First-class decision-making skills and influencing skills.
- Leadership, problem solving, organisational planning skills.
- Ability to adjust to new situations, able to help others accept and adapt to change.
