We are currently seeking a Manager for our Cybersecurity Team, specialising in Cyber Risk and Compliance, to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in providing essential cybersecurity services to our clients. Your expertise in cyber risk and compliance will be critical in assisting clients with regulatory requirements, industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks and cybersecurity compliance.

The Cyber Security team sits within the Risk Advisory service line and provides the following core services:
- **Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance**: Services such as, Cyber strategy and roadmap development, cyber resilience assessment, cyber framework implementations (i.e. ISO 27001, NIST, industry specific), cyber awareness training.
- **Offensive security services**: Services such as penetration testing, social engineering / red teaming, configuration reviews, security validation, cyber security incident and crisis simulations, SOC validation services.
- **Defensive Security**: Cyber defence services, Incident response services, security operations (design, implementation and validation), cloud security, cyber threat intelligence services.
- **Resilience**: Business, technology and cyber resilience reviews, response and recovery planning, simulations and testing of plans, ISO 22301 certifications.
- **Privacy**: Privacy impact assessments, Privacy by Design (PbD), Assessments and Reviews against Australian Privacy Principles (APP) and GDPR.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Leading and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Supervising fieldwork and preparing written reports of a high quality and standard and work to budgets and timelines
- Coordinate scheduling of work/projects based on skills and availability of the staff.
- Technical delivery lead for cybersecurity risk and compliance engagements:
- Collaborate with clients to assess their regulatory requirements, cybersecurity compliance, and industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks, including scoping the engagement appropriately.
- Lead cyber risk engagements, including implementation and reviews for standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Essential 8, NSW Cybersecurity Policy, and other relevant industry-recognized cybersecurity frameworks.
- Assist clients in meeting APRA Standards such as CPS 234 by evaluating their cybersecurity position and recommending necessary improvements.
- Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies for clients, following industry best practices.
- Perform cyber due-diligence assessments to identify potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide guidance to clients on managing third-party risk, including vendor assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Advise clients on cyber resilience strategies, ensuring the ability to withstand and recover from cyber incidents effectively.
- Expertise and knowledge of industry best practices on key cybersecurity controls such as vulnerability management, network security, DevSecOps, cloud security, identity and access management, people security, security in development and operations and cyber resilience.
- Offer expertise in cloud security, including assessing and addressing cloud-specific security challenges, secure configuration of cloud environments, and development of cloud security strategies.
- Contribute to cybersecurity education and awareness initiatives, delivering training sessions and creating thought leadership and awareness materials for clients.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Relevant certifications (i.e., CISA, CISM, CISSP, SABSA, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor)
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- In-depth expertise in regulatory-specific cybersecurity requirements and industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls such as vulnerability management, network security, DevSecOps, cloud security, identity and access management, people security, security in development and operations and cyber resilience.
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity strategy development and policy documentation.
