We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Key Account Manager - Primary Care** to join our **Diabetes Care** business.

This is a **Sydney **based role, responsible for accounts across _Central Sydney, Inner West, East and South Sydney _(_including a defined country area).In this role, you will be accountable for driving all sales and promotional activity across your defined territory, focussing on General Practitioners, community-based Diabetes Educators, Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Retail Pharmacies and other Allied Health practitioners involved with all aspects of primary care based diabetes care.

Your focus will be on identifying opportunities and acquiring new business while growing all existing accounts, to achieve commercial objectives.

**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:

- Implement and contribute to the development of specific sales strategies for targeted GP and Retail Pharmacy accounts to drive profitable growth
- Develop close partnerships with target General Practitioners, key General Practice clinics and other key community based, diabetes focussed healthcare centres
- Develop specific key account business plans to integrate our digital solutions into HCP and clinic based diabetes management programs
- Confidently identify and resolve IT hurdles to allow the implementation digital health solutions
- Appraise customer needs and resolve customer objections
- Progress key account strategies and challenge the status quo
- Prospect new business opportunities with current and new company products
- Understand the competitor environment through knowledge of competitor product offering and activities as well as identifying their product strengths and weaknesses

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Tertiary qualification in a clinical/healthcare discipline
- Experience in a face-to-face sales role within the Primary Care/General Practice setting
- Successful sales track record, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical/medical devices industry
- Demonstrated strong results orientation and high agility to navigate opportunities with the General Practice environment
- Knowledge of the medical industry, retail pharmacy and other community-based health care institutions
- Key account management experience in the primary care environment and experience within the hospital/tertiary care setting is advantageous
- Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
- Excellent digital aptitude, confidence in operating digital health tools and digital business tools
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with strong ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
