**About the Company**
Our client, The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) is a professional not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the science and practice of pathology in Australia and New Zealand. They play a key role in accrediting and overseeing training programs, ensuring the highest standards in pathology education and practice.

**About The Job**
As the Education, Assessment and Exams Officer, you will manage and coordinate assessments and exams for pathologists whilst ensuring the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant.

Working closely with chief examiners and volunteers, you will format and develop exam papers to match curriculum outcomes, organise the logistics for online and face-to-face exams, process results and attend on the day to ensure the exams run smoothly.

Some weekend work is required when the exams are taking place (approx. 5 weekends a year during August and November) TOIL is provided.

**About You**
Previous experience in assessment, exams and education is essential. You will be highly organised, respectful, and influential with a high degree of accuracy and amazing attention to detail. You’ll enjoy working on your own projects within a collaborative and supportive team.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee all examination processes from planning to result analysis
- Manage periodic curriculum reviews to ensure up-to-date learning outcomes and competency-based focus
- Create efficient and effective assessment strategies, maintaining assessment blueprints
- Analyse assessment outcomes and present reports to College Committees for approval
- Collaborate with Chief Examiners and delegates for curriculum and assessment development and enhancement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to workflow development

- Experience in curriculum, assessment or exams practices
- Practical experience in higher/medical education
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
