Our client is a wholesalers and distributor and hold the largest range of teaching resources and education supplies available in Australia for primary schools, high schools, secondary schools, childcare/daycare centres, preschools and After School Care, passionate to find and create resources that support educators and inspire and engage students every single day.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for a driven Key Account Manager to join a high performing sales team. Your new role reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager will be to drive customer engagement concentrating on servicing and developing existing National and State accounts within the Early Childhood Channel. You will enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships working to deliver the development of the Key Account strategies/Business plans. Driving profitable sales growth across resource categories and providing them with key enrichment learning across their centres.
**Your new role**:
- Build and maintain exceptional partnerships with new and existing Early Childhood Groups across Australia
- Daily Management of the Key Account Groups, resolving customer issues and coordinating with the Sales Area Management Team to deliver customer solutions
- Deliver Key Account financial targets (sales & profit) and all identified KPI’s
- Design and implement strategies and business plans that support the achievement of business objectives and drive long term sustainable growth
- Become an expert on our product range and provide recommendations and insights to customers and withing the Early Childhood sector
- Identify major refurbishments, extensions or new centre opportunities within Key Accounts and secure sales through the development and presentation of quotes and sales strategies.
- Create, enhance, and facilitate effective sales presentations and proposals
- Attend and network at industry related events and conferences
**To be successful you will have**:
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Key Account Management role
- Proven track record in Sales ideally in the Early Childhood or Education Sector
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Be commercially astute, with a high degree of customer focus and the ability to deliver outcomes
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to engage at all levels
- Pro-active approach and positive can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Superior problem - confident with trouble shooting and investigating / implementing solutions
- You have full Australian working rights and current driver licence (car)
