The Workforce Planning Analyst is responsible for delivering on the established strategic approach to providing reliable and comprehensive analytics and insights that will support workforce planning strategies.

**Description**

Reporting to the Senior Workforce Planning Analyst, you will be a trusted support to the Recruiting Operations function of DFR by providing analysis on workforce trends and provide suitable solutions support ongoing operational efficiencies.

**You will**:

- Deliver on established framework to drive a strategic approach to analytics and insights that support the execution of DFR's Workforce Planning strategy.
- Conduct detailed analysis of ADF recruiting trends and provide insights on the horizon for the ADF.
- Provide analysis of trends that will impact resource requirements and provide solutions.
- Work closely with key stakeholders from across the business to understand the current state.
- Build and maintain relationships with the services to acquire a deep understanding of the ADF's future recruiting plans, targets and horizon in the long term.
- Develop solutions that meet the needs of the future ADF, considering Adecco's solution and deep knowledge of recruiting operations.
- Provide accurate and timely reports and presentations.
- Identify process improvements and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Provide support in the distribution of national targets, leveraging analysis and insights to inform recommendations and ensuring alignment to current and future requirements of the ADF.
- Provide insights and support across Recruiting Operations in analysing trends and providing insights where required.
- Monitor and review feedback from all key stakeholders, providing accurate responses in a reasonable timeframe.
- Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Department of Defence.

**Profile**

To be successful in this role, you will someone with the capability and desire to work collaboratively within a high functioning team of workforce planning experts, and you will have the ability to interpret data and provide insights and recommendations to improve the operational efficiencies of the Australian Defence Force.

**Your background will demonstrate**:

- Experience in a workforce planning role within a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills and proficient with MS Word and Powerpoint
- The ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with a range of stakeholders to optimise current workforce and forecast future workforce requirements.
