We are looking for a motivated professional passionate about business development and relationship management to enhance our engagement with the Public Sector in Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will lead the go-to-market strategy and strengthen key relationships within Australia's Public Sector by driving member engagement and identifying new opportunities. You'll ensure consistent stakeholder engagement, support internal teams, and deliver value that boosts member outcomes and revenue growth.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Leadership and Account Management: Lead, create, and deliver public sector go-to-market strategy, nationally
- Commercial Sales: Achieve business development targets by proactively Account planning, RFPs and tenders, aligned with CA ANZ values.
- Public Sector Engagement: Local, State and National focus
- Enhance member interactions to boost satisfaction and growth by engaging at events, conferences, and panels.
- Governance: Support CA ANZ teams in engaging with local councils, advisory groups, and committees.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a contact point for resolving service issues within the region and account portfolio.
- Insights: Gather and communicate external feedback to stakeholders, driving the development of new products and services to improve member satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to be a self-starter, seasoned relationship manager with experience driving strategic sales, business development, and member satisfaction. You will excel in stakeholder management, quickly build rapport, and influence senior decision-makers. With deep public sector knowledge and networks, you’re commercially astute, strong in problem-solving, and thrive in fast-paced environments. There will be some travel required. You will also bring:
- Proven sales experience within the Public Sector, either selling through partners or directly
- A track record delivering portfolio and territory plans, strategic key account plans and selling in complex and competitive environments
- Solid industry networks and understanding of the public sector procurement process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills at a senior level with the ability to effectively influence, negotiate and quickly build rapport and credibility
- Knowledge and success working with governance groups, communities, or panels will be highly regarded
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and CRM systems
