**Your new role**
The Agile Development Manager forms a part of the Planning Information Services Solution Delivery Team, which oversees the digital product development pipeline in line with business needs and architecture directions. The position oversees the delivery of digital planning initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders and vendor teams. The position drives adoption of agile product development across the Planning Information Services Branch.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT and/or extensive hand on experience in cloud IT development is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex IT development projects in the public or private sectors is mandatory.
- Demonstrated significant experience in people management of agile team members working on microservice development in a cloud environment is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and experience of software development methodologies using agile (Scrum and Kanban), including extensive experience in being a Scrum Master and mentoring others in agile is mandatory.
