Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Quality and Compliance Manager to join their team in the Northern Suburbs.

As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that pre-packaged products, including meat and dairy, meet the highest standards before reaching our customers.

**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

- Lead site quality operations, overseeing staff development.
- Act as Site Senior Leader, driving food safety and quality expertise and direction.
- Managing export compliance
- Execute Quality Engagement plan through on-site activities.
- Ensure adherence to operational hygiene as per business standards.
- Maintain and update Quality Management System changes.
- Address and initiate investigations for food safety and quality risks.
- Coordinate HACCP team and necessary risk assessments.
- Conduct audits for compliance and customer standards.
- Monitor and address customer and consumer complaints.
- Familiarity with Halal/kosher and organic certification is advantageous.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry with Quality Systems, including HACCP.
- A driven, strategic team player with proven leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of dairy export requirements
- Logistics/Transport experience advantageous
- Attention to detail and results-driven approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety and/or Training and Assessment desirable.
