**The Role**
The purpose of the RTO Quality & Compliance Manager is to manage contract compliance, quality assurance, student data, learning products and systems, and support the overall commercial and compliance performance of the RTO, including its obligations to ASQA and federal/state governments as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
The RTO Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for the overall RTO quality and compliance. The role involves interpretation, operationalisation, monitoring and performance of RTO administration and student services functions, contract and claims management, governance, coordination of learning resources, quality and learning systems, continuous improvement, and industry best practice activities. The RTO Quality & Compliance Manager leads the RTO’s quality, compliance, and products per the national business objectives.
This is a full-time permanent role based in CBD East Melbourne. Our client has flexible working arrangements in place, a hybrid role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Achieve cost management of resource development in line with budget
- Accurate and timely reporting of training data submissions, state funding claims and month-end reporting
- Maintain ASQA and state training compliance of the RTO with no major contractual breaches; address and form rectification plan for internal/external audit findings
- Timely and accurate submissions and successful renewal/acceptance of funding contracts
- Demonstrated and on-time delivery of outcomes related to Product Offerings for the RTO
- Demonstrated and on-time delivery of outcomes related to Systems and Processes for the RTO
- Ensuring timely communication to maintain awareness of contractual requirements
- Effective communication with internal teams, contract trainers and assessor
- A Qualification relevant to the VET sector (minimum of TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years in a quality/compliance management role within an RTO
- Deep understanding of Vocational Education and Training, including ASQA Standards, VET Quality Frameworks, State Funding models
- Industry experience in RTO quality, compliance or training design and development
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally, including all federal and state government levels
- Understanding of VET systems
- Interpersonal skills - highly developed communication and relationship management skills, including building working relationships, displaying qualities that encourage positive communication and trust
- Ability to build rapport, lead people, delegate tasks and report on outcomes
- Experience in financial forecasting and reporting
- Strong computing skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to use a Student Management System, Management System and Basic Communications/Project Management Software
