**Role Overview**:
The Workplace Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering expert advice and workforce solutions relating to our Enterprise Agreements, implementing risk management strategies and providing hands-on support to achieve successful outcomes for our organisation. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Australian Industrial Relations system, previous exposure navigating complex Enterprise Agreements and confidence interacting with a wide range of external stakeholders (e.g. industry associations, union bodies etc).

Ultimately, this person will play a key role within the Workplace Relations team and supporting the wider P&C Business Partnering team and leadership team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispute Resolution: Effectively manage and resolve internal and external industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) matters, including but not limited to the implementation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) across the organisation.
- Change Management: Contribute to the achievement of the organisation's change agendas by supporting and implementing workplace relations strategies.
- Development of Resources: Collaborate with the Workplace Relations team to create and establish a suite of effective, best practice templates, resources, educational tools, training materials and information for the organisation.

**Performance Indicators**:

- Mitigate organisational risk through the timely management and resolution of IR/ER matters
- Deliver tailored workplace relations tools and resources that reflect the needs of the organisation
- Effectively support change management processes
- Establish your brand as a dynamic and collaborative WR Specialist

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in workplace relations or a similar field with a strong understanding of the Australian Industrial Relations system.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex IR/ER matters end-to-end.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Previous exposure writing a wide range of communications (e.g. Workforce communications, reporting, Union correspondence etc)
- Experience in developing training materials and resources is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to support and build leadership confidence in workplace relations matters.
